2013 European University Summer Program

 

1. PNU EU Center European University

Summer Program

This program will be on the functions of the EU system and related European topics, held at the Universities in EU countries. Applicants will be given the opportunities to take Summer School offered by the universities in Europe. The interdisciplinary programs will provide students a variety of benefits; a chance to experience and to understand the system, culture, politics, economics, the process of integration of EU. Therefore, PNU EU Center summer programs will give impetus to European studies and to raise awareness of the EU to students in PNU.

 

2. Applicant Qualification

-Undergraduate and graduate students in MA and Ph.D programs who are interested in EU. (currently enrolled in PNU)

-English speaking proficiency

 

3. Summer Programs in Detail

Tallinn University (Estonia)	International Financial Law, Regulations, and the Global Financial Crisis	7/29 – 8/2 (1 week)	Tuition Fee(including parts of Housing+Food) + Flight Charge( ₩ 700,000)   * Granting Tuition : after receiving the admission from the partner university. Other expenses : After completing the program, and submitting the certificate. * Each program includes different options for housing and food. * Summer session(계절학기) credit (only for undergraduate students) (minimum 1 credits/ maximum 4 credits)

Warsaw School of Economics (Poland)	economics and management	7/1~7/12or13 (2 weeks)

-Only rest amount of flight charge should be paid by the applicant.      

-Do write your first, second, third-choice universities on the application form.

5. Selection (Screening) Procedure

   ① Selection of candidates by document screening

   ② Interview(further notice)=> expected to be on 2013.3.18(mon)

 

6. Requirements

-Application form: Download on the homepage of the PNU EU Center

(including recommendation and study plan)

-A copy of English proficiency certificate (mandatory)

-A copy of transcript (undergraduate and graduate school)

 

* The final selection for applicants and the permission for participation will be made by the EU Universities.

* Limerick University program is the tailor-made program. If you are selected by the center,  participants would be guaranteed.
